The Fruitland Fire Department has been a generous partner to MCBC in the past and this year was no exception.  Fruitland Fire surpassed even their own expectations in raising over $10,000 for Midwest Children’s Burn Camp through their annual “Fill the Boot” drive.  Under the supervision of fire Chief Robert Francis and Fire Department Administrator, Judy Diebold, the department planned shifts and rotations to maximize their visibility in the Fruitland community.

Of course, none of this would have been possibly without the generosity of the Fruitland area community members, some of whom raced to their vehicles to secure spare change and others who made several individual donations over the course of the drive.
