Burns Recovered’s GOT TALENT! is a unique event that celebrates our survivor community and offers fun for everyone! The event, to be held at the Funny Bone Comedy Club, Streets of St. Charles will feature a national comedian/speaker and burn survivor, Bobby Henline, amazingly awesome acts from Midwest Children’s Burn Camp campers, inspirational stories from our organization and fun raffles/prizes! Come experience our community of survivors and service at this first of its kind event which helps raise funding for Burns Recovered, an organization to benefit burn survivors and their families whose mission is to “help every burn survivor live life to the fullest without limitations, fear, or insecurity”.
Tickets include an appetizer buffet, 2 drink tickets, and all the entertainment and activities of the evening! We are seeking sponsorships for complementary tickets for burn survivors/co-survivors and our performers. The event will begin at 4:00 PM with our featured entertainer, Bobby Henline, delivering a funny and inspirational message and then our talented youth burn survivors will take the stage! After the talent acts, we’ll pause for a brief intermission when those under 21 will exit and our headliner, Bobby, will deliver a standup routine! We are encouraging all guests to stay for the 7:00 PM show (tickets can be purchased at the Funny Bone website) AND our VIP Ticket purchasers will cover the cost for our adult survivors to attend the 7:00 PM show free of charge!
