Hello MCBC Community! Our dear camp friend and supporter, John O'Leary - Live Inspired, is looking for community members to serve as extras on the set of his upcoming feature film, "On Fire: the movie"! Check out his post for details on how to apply! #liveinspired #burnsrecovered #burnsurvivorshipMy friends, do you want a chance to be an extra for ON FIRE The Movie? Ours will be the FIRST movie shot in the state since the newly reinstated Missouri film tax incentives are back in effect! How cool is that?
Here’s what you should know...
>>> Filming takes place in St. Louis between Nov. 6 and Dec. 9, 2023. Adults (18+) are needed for scenes in restaurants, at Busch Stadium, on construction sites and more. Most extras will work in one scene and one day on set. A typical day on set is 12-13 hours and the selected extras must be available to stay for the entire period. Producers aim to give 3-4 days notice of when the selected extras are needed.
There are *TWO* ways to apply… but only choose *ONE*:
1️... Visit jonitackettecasting.net/on-fire-extras-casting.html, download the PDF form, fill it out and return it to JTcasting1@gmail.com along with two current digital photos
2... Fill out this Google Form: forms.gle/4ZGjMPsxjRKnXjFr6
Hope to see you on set!

It’s Fire Prevention Week! This year we’re focusing on cooking safety.
“Cooking safety starts with YOU. Pay attention to fire prevention.”
Cooking fires cause an average of 158,400 home fires every year.
Unattended cooking was the leading factor contributing to cooking fires and casualties.
Ranges or cooktops were involved in more than half 53% of the home cooking fires, 88% of deaths, and 74% of injuries.
Never leave food unattended! If you are leaving the area, turn the oven or stovetop off. #FirePreventionWeek

It was an honor!!! Thank you!!! 🙏🏾
St. Louis Burns Recovered Holiday Party
Additionally, we are fortunate to be able to provide one holiday gift to each burn survivor who completes this Google Form. Holiday gifts will be distributed at the Kansas City and St. Louis Holiday parties on December December 9th and December 10th respectively. Please fill out this form in its entirety to ensure that your burn survivor receives a gift. If transportation is a barrier or you do not live near a Holiday party site, please indicate that in the form as well.
Lastly, we know that some of our families experience economic hardship during the holiday season. This year, we are gathering gift cards for families who request one to lessen the financial burden as we approach the holidays. Please indicate at the end of the form whether you would like one for your family and we will arrange to have one ready when you pick up your gifts for your burn survivor or mailed to your home.
Please use the link below to RSVP by Sunday, October 29th, 2023!
