May 20 Update:

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Camp Taum Sauk in Lesterville, MO will not be hosting campers this summer. We fully support this decision, made with the health and safety of campers and staff as top priority.

However, Midwest Children’s Burn Camp is still happening! From July 27 to August 1, youth will “Zoom Into The Future” via camp programming online.

As part of this new and innovative experience, each camper will receive their own tablet device to access camp programming! Also, they will be given an age-appropriate box of materials to use during online sessions, as well as materials for independent activities. As always, this program continues at no cost to campers and their families. More information will be sent to you in the weeks ahead concerning changes in camp registration and programming.

We recognize that many are feeling lonely, anxious and confused in this challenging time. All burn survivors ages 15 and above, as well as their caregivers, are urged to join our virtual support group sessions held via zoom session online - access information is listed below.

For our younger friends, we suggest that parents and guardians contact Director of Youth Programs Madeleine Carson, MSW, LCSW by email at madeleine@brsg.org to discuss other available options.

Once a feasible date for in-person gatherings can be set, we will make plans to gather and celebrate the unlimited possibilities the future holds for all of us.

If you have immediate questions or concerns, please contact our office at (314) 939-1550 or by email at brsg@brsg.org.
